Is it free?
Yes. No ads, no account, no purchases.
Does it need the internet?
No. Only searching for a birthplace uses Apple Maps, and 34,000 places work without a connection too.
Why are Today's times for a different city?
Today follows where you are, not where you were born: sunrise, Rahu Kaal and the hours belong to your sky now. Tap the place under Today to choose one by hand.
Which zodiac does it use?
Sidereal, with Lahiri by default. Krishnamurti, Raman, Fagan-Bradley, Yukteshwar and the tropical zodiac are in Settings.
I'm not sure of my birth time.
Open Birth Time: it shows how your chart changes as the minutes move, and lets you settle on a time.
Which birth dates work?
From 1900 in the app. The engine covers 1850 to 2049.
My chart differs slightly from another app.
Usually the ayanamsa or the lunar nodes. The ayanamsa is in Settings; mean or true nodes are under Advanced when you add or edit someone. Apps also define sunrise differently: we use the moment the Sun's upper edge meets the horizon.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a person under People. Deleting the app removes everything. You can export all your data from Settings first.
